GREETINGS from Sunway Pyramid Ice!
We would like to thank you for your interest and participation in “Skate Malaysia 2009”. This is our 5th anniversary “Skate Malaysia” event and we are very excited to welcome you to Sunway Pyramid Ice in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Since there won’t be any “Skate Asia” event this year, we are expecting another exciting and thrilling annual competition in Kuala Lumpur.

This year we proudly to introduce the new system “ONLINE REGISTRATION” through the website www.skatemalaysia.com.my for your event registrations.
No more …Telegraphic Transfer (T/T), just login to the website and use your credit card to register your events.
To ensure an accurate and easy entry process for your skaters – we recommend ALL COACHES to read “Terms and Conditions” and “How it works” at www.skatemalaysia.com.my before you help your student to register their events and for easier processing of your skaters’ entry and payments.
Your cooperation and efficient assistance with this registration process will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!
- There will be 3 entry forms ONLINE: Individual Entry, Partner Entry, and Team Entry. Fill-out the entry forms with complete information and carefully including the ISI MEMBERSHIP No. If you are a new member, please fill “NEW” in the box. Please ensure to note your partner's name, age, & sex on your form if you are participating in Couples, Dance, Pairs, Couples Spotlight, Family Spotlight, or Jump & Spin events.
Online event registration for the TEAM ENTRY and PARTNER ENTRY must register and make payment in ONE FORM ONLY !
Skate Malaysia 2009 will be using ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY. It will help you and your skater to register your events easier.
COMPETITION ENTRY & TESTING DEADLINES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED – Skate Malaysia 2009 DEADLINE: 1 JUNE 2009
Late entries will only be accepted after approval of the Competition Director, and after the double fee payments are received.
- To all the Head Coach or Team Coach (ONLY) who would like to request for TEAM SUMMARY, please send email to Skate Malaysia 2009 Competition Director, Harry Janto Leo at episkate@hotmail.com. Harry will send you the username and password to check the list of your skaters and events.
- Competition fees will be in RM - Ringgit Malaysia.
- In order to reach wider participants and ice rinks, Skate Malaysia 2009 Organizer will not send any “Competition Schedule Packet” to the respective rink, but all information will be posted on the Skate Malaysia website.
All Skate Malaysia 2009 information will be posted on the website including Skate Malaysia 2009 Poster and Ice Time Information.
- Please plan your travel and practice sessions so you can attend the REQUIRED COACH & JUDGE MEETING ON THURSDAY, 2 JULY, 2009 FROM 3-5PM.
Note: Coach and Judge Goodies bag will be distributed ONLY during the meeting.
- Individual medals will be awarded for 1st – 5th Place winners. All skaters not placing 1st – 5th will receive a 5th Place medal. Overall Team Champion Trophies will be presented to each participating rink team.
- NO PRACTICE ICE RESERVATIONS OR INFORMATION WILL BE ACCEPTED OR AVAILABLE BEFORE THE SCHEDULE POSTED ON THE WEBSITE www.skatemalaysia.com.my
This new “Online Registration” system has involved a lot of time and efforts, and we are really excited about it, so please bear with us if there is any problems encounter as we are still in the process to improve the online registration experience.
